Master Trainer/Owner ~ Paula Coates
Paula has been teaching the Pilates method for over 16 years and has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She is a certified 2nd generation Pilates teacher and Lolita San Miguel Pilates master. This makes her part of an elite group of Pilates teachers because Lolita San Miguel is 1 of only 2 Pilates elders who were ever personally certified by Joseph Pilates himself.
Truly passionate about her work, Paula has an innate ability to see what her clients need at each session, and uses an integrative approach with Pilates, biomechanics, and yoga to move the body accordingly. She works with doctors and physical therapists to help people with back problems, scoliosis, mastectomies, neurological disorders and various other issues, and also trains athletes and those who want to have a stronger core and more aligned body. Her clients show her the amazing possibilities of the human body every day.

Studio Manager/Trainer ~ Brandy Barrett
Brandy Barrett’s fitness journey began at Northern Michigan University where she studied marketing and business management, later receiving her Bachelor’s Degree through DeVry University. An avid runner, she had a passion for fitness and strength training. During her time at NMU, she studied and trained in bodybuilding under the direction of her aunt and uncle who were master trainers.
During the past 25 years she has held certifications in both traditional and step aerobics and jazzercise group fitness training She has developed circuit and strength training routines for men and women of all ages. Brandy also taught muscle strength, range of motion, and chair yoga to seniors and rehabilitation clients through the Silver Sneakers program.
Brandy received her Personal Training Certification in 2013 through the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is currently pursuing additional coursework in personal training, muscle strength and range of motion at NASM. Starting in 2013, Brandy expanded her knowledge to learn the fundamentals of Pilates and yoga. In 2014 she completed her Pilates and Yoga Mat Certifications and PiYO Strength Instructor Training with Chalene Johnson and Katie Maurer of BeachBody and Expert Rating.
Pilates and yoga have become Brandy’s passions because she strongly believes that proper form and stability, along with strength and flexibility, are key elements to keeping a body healthy and in motion. She is on a constant quest to expand her knowledge and training in Pilates and other areas of fitness and healthy living. In February 2018, Brandy began the Comprehensive Pilates Training Program through Balance Body. Overall, Brandy loves to work with people one-on-one or in a group fitness setting. Ever mindful of proper form and stability to keep you safe, she will push you to go outside of your comfort limits to attain your fitness goals.
Trainer ~ Kristin Melotte
Kristin Melotte is a Certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor who received her training through Balanced Body University in 2016. Kristin has been immersed in the world of mind-body movement for over nine years. With 23 years of dance experience, Kristin found her passion for Pilates while completing her BA in Dance and Spanish at University of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Kristin is also a huge barre addict and teaches her own flare of Barre with Springs and Floor Barre!
Kristin studies the body’s miraculous ability to provide flexibility and muscle memory. She endeavors to create an ease in movement patterning for all ages, abilities and backgrounds. She concentrates on re-patterning muscles to provide strength, length and tone. Kristin is thoughtful to detail and creates focused variations for clients who have undergone injury, surgery or have chronic pain. She is deeply passionate about movement and enjoys sharing the limitless world of Pilates with others.
Trainer ~ Cathy Moreau
Cathy Moreau, a magna cum laude graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Spanish, has been an avid runner, competitive road biker and fitness instructor for over 25 years. Cathy has a wealth of knowledge in many fitness modalities with Barre being one of her favorites to teach. She began teaching Barre classes at bCentered Training in August 2014.
Cathy earned her 200HR Yoga Instructor Certification through the Yoga Alliance and State of Wisconsin in December 2014. Yoga has not only brought her a broader understanding of the benefits of effective stretching and strengthening of the body, but also presents a true understanding of the importance of proper alignment and breath in every fitness class.
In February 2016, Cathy became a nationally Certified Personal Trainer through NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association). In addition, she has attended several continuing education classes to enhance her Barre knowledge including Booty Barre training as well as earning a Specialty Certification in Barre Connect through NETA.
Cathy is a high energy instructor sure to give you an effective and fun workout fusing together Yoga, Strength, Pilates and Core elements into every Barre class.

Trainer ~ Gwen Fitch
Gwen became a massage therapy professional in 2003 because helping others manage their pain and feel good was the direction she wanted her career to take. Soon thereafter, she started Pilates training to build her endurance to compensate for the long hours of massage. Realizing that massage and Pilates were a natural fit for both her and her clients, she became a PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) certified instructor in 2005.
Gwen’s comprehensive Pilates training program through Core Conditioning in Studio City, California centered on the classical Pilates method with a focus on physical therapy applications. Since completing her training, Gwen has worked with people from all backgrounds, all ages, and all fitness levels, primarily with rehab patients in a physical therapy setting. Her specialties are women pre and post natal, people recovering from injuries or surgeries, and those dealing with chronic pain. Gwen’s attention to detail and alignment, a dedication to the Pilates method, and her desire to help people alleviate pain make her an instructor who will not only help you get fit, but also help you feel better.
